A creamy, pale oat ale hopped with a huge charge of Equinox and Simcoe hops for a piney, eucalyptusy, cedary, sprucey, foresty blast. First brewed in 1995... brewed today in a time of change.

New Beer Diatributors, NYC bomber: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is a bit of citrus and vanilla. Not really all that hoppy. Very smooth. Tasted kind of like an old IPA. Weird maltiness... Maybe that is the oats. I was not a huge fan.

Keg @ Birmingham Beer Bash, tasting session with chap from Lagunitas. Pours clear amber with off-white head. Aroma is sweet and resinous. Taste is super hoppy with big citrus, pine, resin, orange and caramel. A certain creamy element from the oats with a defined bitterness. Usual Lagunitas greatness.

Tap at the Birmingham Beer Bash, 2015. Poured a clear straw colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is citrus, resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big, heart warming, rich alcoholic citrus, pine needle, woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bomber - dark gold with a light haze - fairl solid double IPA here - a lot of citrus and tropical flavor and a fairly fresh, herbal component, as well - texture is fairl creamy, but the body is also a little oily - fairly bitter finish, just bordering on abrasive but not quite getting there - I like it.

After a few at CRAFT BEER HOUSE molto!! I am now at Craft Beer Base BUD. A crystal clear deep gold pour with a juicy citrus hop aroma with some dank herbal accents. The body is sharply carbonated & medium bodied. The taste is herbal mint & citrus fruit hoppiness with some sugary caramel malt character. It looks good but it isn’t really doing it for me.
