A creamy, pale oat ale hopped with a huge charge of Equinox and Simcoe hops for a piney, eucalyptusy, cedary, sprucey, foresty blast. First brewed in 1995... brewed today in a time of change.

Bomber. Pours a clear bright orange color with a large white head. A big sticky sweet malty hoppy nose. Awesome beer; huge oranges, citrus all the way through, the oat base adds creaminess that makes this super drinkable, fresh pine and bitterness. Certainly a hop forward brew. The idea of this being woody makes a ton of sense. In some ways, this is perfect. Just explosive hop flavors. Lovely.

Pour is a bright and clear orange with a large white head. Aroma is a very nice evergreen forest hop with maybe some of the oats. Flavor is again a nice fresh blast from the hops. Some toasted grain is left on the tongue as this goes down. Pretty darn good and hoppy and Lagunitas beers are always some of the most affordable.

22oz sharp shouldered bomber pours with a clear deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up mango, sweet pineapple, cantaloupe and then modest levels of dank onion like hops with some soft floral hops out at the edges. The taste starts with firm levels of tropical juice, some tangelo citrus and bitter near resiny hoppiness. The bitter hop edge to this swells to midway and into the finish. This is nice. The tangelo, mango and pineapple blend seamlessly into modest hop bitterness thatβs largely grapefruit and dank onion spiciness. There is a modest malty base but not that Pale Ale like. With this terrific taste, who cares.

Nice copper body with decent ivory white head. Soft hoppy IPA smell. Good IPA taste without much complexity. Refreshing and simple. Oily finish.

Bottle from BC Liquors
Hazy golden color. Nice hoppy aroma, it has both some PNW resiny hops, and some leafy sweaty hops. The mouthfeel is partially dry, with more sugars in the final; the malt background is lean and delicate, allowing the hops to be more evident, mostly resiny, but with some fruity touch too.
Nice.

22 oz bottle. Pours golden with a very slight haze and an off-white head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit citrus hops, kind of piney and grassy. Strong orange citrus, grassy, floral, pine hop flavor. Overdoes the orange, really, but still decent.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops, followed by sweet caramel malts, some bark, and cereal. Flavour is similar, with a good balance of piney hops and light sweet caramel malts. Not terribly complex, but expertly constructed with just the right amount of balance. Good stuff, just not terribly exciting.
