Bottle, 75cl corked, at Telford's. It's an unclear, red beer with a minimalistic whitehead. Red berries, lemon and some pale malts and alcohol in the aroma. It's full-bodied and tart on the palate, with a soft carbonation. There's a hint of vinegar in the flavor, but mostly it's berries, but I can't really say I reckognize it as elderberry. Hints of lemon, funk and pale malts. Medium length finish. A nice brew indeed, but I'd like more complexity to really enjoy it. 240904

Purple, hazy, no head. Deep berry character. Somewhat acetic, light tartness. Lots of berry, though.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a deep dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright elderberries, toasted chestnut, and oak. Flavour is full of tart elderberries, oak, and toasted chestnuts. Tart, woody, berry-ish. Nicely done.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF with priceless Rachel's (yup, again!) help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: hazy red copper. Aroma: fruity, some bugs and oak. Taste: same, a bit acidic. Overall: ok.
