Cask at the Grapes, Liverpool. Dark mahogany brown. Slightly translucent. Medium creamy khaki head. Heavy lacing. Malty and chocolatey aroma with forest fruit. Mostly sweet but bitter kicks in. Cherry cola and Black Forest gateau. Creamy mouthfeel. Long satisfying sweet finish. A pleasant surprise this one.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Deep ruby red with a thin head with mostly a sweetness and a touch of grain.
