Cask at the Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Watching Belgium v Russia in the World Cup. Straw with a foamy white head. Fair bit of lacing as well. Lemon, seawater and soap dominate the nose. The taste is poor: bitter and soapy. Fresh bitter finish. Luscious bitter/salty aftertaste at first, but then the soapiness returns. Watery mouthfeel. Vale can, and should, do better. Disappointing.
