The aroma is bursting with tangerine, supported by pine and sweet fruits. This follows through on tasting with that resinous and assertive bitterness you'd expect from a style like this, of course with the usual Whiplash touch. That bitterness just lingers on the end making rounding out this big beer.

44cl Blik van Drankgigant. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Fruitig, bloemig, citrus, medium zoet, licht harsig, licht kruidig, heerlijk hoppig, wat tropisch fruit, goed bitter. Medium body. Knaller van een DIPA.

Fra fat på Lervig Local en fin formiddag i juli: nesten helt klar gylden med fint skum som varer til bunns. Superbalansert aroma og smak med saftig citrus (særlig mandariner/clementiner), aprikoser, kvae, karamell og hint av krydder. Granskudd, citrus og kvae i den halvtørre avslutningen gjør den farlig lettdrikkelig.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 18/06/22. Almost clear golden with a good sized lasting white head. Back third of the can murks things up. Nose is crisp malts, papaya, grapefruit, pine needle, grass, orange zest, light floral notes. Taste comprises bitter orange, pine resin, grapefruit, stoned fruits, light passionfruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Solid well balanced and crushable DIPA.
