A serious IPA with tons of dry hop character bringing citrus and piney aromas on a beautiful malt backbone. Dry hopped twice for bold grapefruit and other citrus flavors that are contrasted by the malt sweetness.

Are almost our citrus pit, malt, resin and a hint of MG. Flavors are similar to nose with a good balance between bitter, sweet and just right carbonation. Resin seems a touch old. Definitely drinkable but nothing special.

Prickly hop, very big orange forward. Medium body but the body isn’t that fantastic it’s ok

1 Pint can purchased at their brewpub Evanston. Dark golden in the glass, slightly golden, nearly two finger white foamy head. Orange aroma with resin and pine, some malt in the background. Nice. Taste starts with bitterhop, orange, some licorice and resin. Malty backbone. Little bit alcoholic sharpness. Less bitterness, more fruity parts in the aftertaste. Pleasant stuff.

Can, from Foxtrot, Chicago (2022 October). Pours faintly cloudy dark yellow with a foamy light beige head, orange peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter orange peel taste, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very orangey.

16 oz. can from Trader Joe's packaged by Great Central Brewing. Pours a more orange body than the Insufficient Clearance. A nice spongy pile of foam on top, too. Nose is kind of mild, just a nice dose of citrus and pine resin. The malt pushes to the front of the palate first, a bit thick, but matched by a smoother hop profile than I've come to expect. It's pretty easy to drink down. Maybe not a HopSlam, but very nice in its own right.
