Santa’s Chocolate Chip Cookies is our popular American Brown Ale recipe, where we have turned up the biscuit malt a bit and then let it mature on organic cacao nibs from Peru to give it the perfect taste of real chocolate, which plays well with the notes of coffee that the original recipe offers.

Jens Smagning 11/04/2025 - toasted and roasted malty with chocolate biscuity malts, caramel, has a burnt ashy charred edge (not sure if intentional) some more sweet biscuity chocolate malts into the close.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of bread, leading to a bitter finish. 7/5/7/3/14

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque, deep brown with a tiny, rough, beige head. Lovely nose sweet chocolate and vanilla aroma. Medium body, sweet roast and chocolate notes with sufficient, balancing hops. Really good. 190225

Bottle from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours opaque black with large light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, molasses, caramel, fudge, bread crust, freshly ground coffee, liquorice and lactose. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, faint acidic and faint to light salty. Body is oily with light fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with intense notes of molasses, caramel, fudge, coffee, liquorice, bread, dried fruit (raisins) and lactose. Very pleasant

Bottle. Very dark brown, lasting beige head. Roasted, nutty aroma, some caramel and choc. Bittersweet chocolate flavour, a little roast, lactose sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Pleasant.
