Our cherry stout is dark and rich with a fine mix of chocolate, roast and black malts. The flavour is enriched by a delicate balance of both sweet and sour cherries,. The use of oatmeal aids the velvet-like texture of this stout.

Bottle from Cornelius. Black body with a thin beige head. Great lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, tangy berries and filter coffee. Flavour of brambles, sharp cherries and coffee. Medium body with a slick, oily texture. A sharp, fruity Stout.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with some red tinges when held to the light. Roasted malt, coffee, almonds and cherries in the aroma. Roasted taste with coffee, cocoa and detected, along with cherries being noticeable yet relatively subtle. Quite nicely balanced.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Opaque black brown beer with a small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry with very light fine carbonation. Smooth and light dark malt. Super light cherry. Whisper of chocolate. Light dry finish.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 16/10/13. Mid black with a good sized tan head. Nose is roast malts, dark toffee, fruity twang, light cocoa. Taste comprises berry fruti, light roast, earthy cocoa. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light roasty tones at the curtain call. Looks and feels good, doesnโt hold much depth and no real discerning cherry flavours. Drinkable enough though.
