A Belgian golden ale. To create this in the true style, we sourced and utilized a specific Trappist brewery yeast, which is key to this style, along with a helping of brewing sugar for that famous drinkability. It’s smooth and dry, with a light herbal note, a snap of hops, and warm spice in the aftertaste. Hops: Hallertauer Tradition and Fuggles. Collaboration with Odell Brewing Co.

Keykeg at Pig’s Ear 2024 - Hackney. Pours crystal clear yellow-good with a tight, creamy white head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of doughy bread, wheat, yeast, honeysuckle, lemon peel, biscuit. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet and bready to finish. Tasty stuff.

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium sized white head and good lacing. Summer fruits to the fore in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and zesty with typical Belgian ale flavours – wheat, bananas, bubblegum and yeast. Later on there are traces of cloves and herbs leading to a slightly bitter finish. This is rather nice – I can’t believe it’s not Belgian !
