A tropical IPA using house Golden Promise, Oats and Wheat for body and a little Caramalt for residual sweetness. Judiciously hopped with Simcoe, Ekuanot, HBC 438, Huell Melon and Motueka in whirlpool and dry hop. The hops adding flavours and aromas of passionfruit, melon and lime. Fermented with Brett Trois for a pineapple/mango aroma and a lightly tart and refreshing finish.

THT June at Kwartjeโs HQ. Slightly unclear golden with white head. Sweet malts, tangerine, mango, grassy, tropical. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

8 3 8 4 16Bottle shared at THT June. Fairly hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, peach and light caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can shared at THT July. Bit hazy golden with small white head. Pineapple, sugary malts, soft dank hops, peach, cantaloupe, gooseberries. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Quite nice creamy over medium bodied. Good stuff.

Thin off white head left a cover on a hazy dark orange still body. Massive fruity, juicy aroma with fresh hops. Medium bodied, very spritely on the tongue with a cloying back. Juice bomb of a taste with bitterness, hops, pith, grapefruit, underripe fruit & a very tangy finish.

500ml can from Ghost Whale. BBE 28/09/18. Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of juicy exotic tropical fruits, citrus, passionfruit and lime, hints of tartness and funky yeastiness. Taste is juicy fruity, slightly funky tart with some exotic tropical notes, lime, passionfruit and hints of yeast. Finish is sweetish and slightly funky with some juicy fruits, exotic tropical notes and passionfruit. Interesting, quite untypical.

Hazy dark blond colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have intense tropical fruit hop notes. Quite orangey in the finish. An after burp brings forth more bitter resinous hop notes too.

Can. Nose is fruity, melon, brett, mango,slightly floral. Taste is melon, peach, pine, hint of lime leading to a dry bretty, spicy, salty, faintly leathery pine finish. The dryness makes it dangerously drinkable for the strength. Nice to see brett used in a beer as a normal ingredient without being a centerpiece.
