A Bramling Cross hopped ESB brewed to showcase this awesome UK hop alongside the toffee and stone fruit flavours from the blend of crystal malts. A big hit of late Bramling Cross hops balances out the rich malt with notes of blackberry and spice.

Cask gravity at Tonbridge Rugby Club Winter Festival 2024. Clear mid brown colour thin beige head. Some sweetness Some strawberry jam. Some nettle hop. Some bitterness. Yep decent ESB. Really more on the dry side than the sweet side.

Can. Clear deep amber brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. The malts bring a thin creamy sweetness with a decent side serving of unsweet toffee. Juicy blackberry fruits from the Bramling Cross, along with good cooling pine. What a spiffin hop this is. I wish some enterprising brewer would sole this hop in a full on dipa. Ampersand, you obviously like this hop, why not you? Light finish. Rather good ESB. Love the juxtaposition of toffee and blackberry in a crisp and very quaffable beer .
