330ml bottle from Beer District, Buxton. Pours a deep very dark brown without a head and zero carbonation. Aromas & tastes of toffee, smoked bacon & rich malt. Medium body. Dry slightly sweet finish. Enjoyable but didn't meet high expectations

330ml bottle at 11%. Pours very dark brown with no head. Aroma is smoked ham, apple and mollasses. Taste has sweet smoked ham and chocolate to start. Smoked ham and caramel finish. A little boozy.

Bottle picked up from Torrside (via Eebria) consumed at home Thursday 5th April 2018, on my own tonight as Loz in Hastings with Jude and Isobel for the weekend. Pours dark brown with a dark ruby glint, good clarity. A light film across the surface. A nice smokiness, caramel and good beefy bite, it's a big heavy-duty barley wine style beer, thick in the mouth, hops show but I like the smokey underbelly. I like this even if it is giving me a sneezing fit, but then I like sneezing, I think I'm on about 15-16 sneezes now. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
