5/25/24. Dark brown, medium brown head, average retention. Aroma of caramel, maple, chocolate, roast. Taste is chocolate, roast, maple, vanilla. Moderate booze. Nice.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A new Central Waters beer? Nostalgia for me, was a brewery I chased nearly 2 decades ago before the killjoys shut down beer on eBay. Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light and smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Nice smooth dark malts, a good creamy sweetness, slightly tangy but lovely cakey chocolate. Mild icing sugar. Light vanilla, very modest use of cinnamon. Light smooth finish. It doesn't blow me away with flavour but it does seduce with it's lightness and very good drinkability. Unusual for any Impy, I think I could keep going with this one.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 21/09/24. Black with a tan head that settles to the edge. Nose is dark chocolate shreds, hint of coffee, dark malts, roasted tones, spice, maple syrup. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, light cinnamon, spice, roasted bite. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost offered at the curtain call. Tidy impy.
