Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (29A: passionfruit / base: 23G). Can 33 cl - Batch PG1023 (BB: 12/2024). AROMA: medium-high passionfruit aroma with a clean lactic sourness low intensity. faint neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: murky orange-ish color and hazy. low off-white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low passionfruit notes. low malt flavor, on the neutral side. low bitterness with a dry and slightly salty finish. yeast present in the aftertaste. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body. medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a passionfruit gose with nice aromas but with some distracting flavors.

Keg at Catraio Craft Beer Shop, Porto, 27/10/22. Hazed orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is tangy passionfruit, sharp melon, hedgerow, light funk. Taste comprises straw, grains, pissy passionfruit, guava, lychee, light salt kiss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering kiss. Decent refresher.
