Ciemna barwa, piana koloru beżowego, drobnopęcherzykowa, opada bez śladu. W aromacie mocno kawowe oraz wyczuwalne nuty gorzkiej czekolady. W smaku również przoduje kawa oraz gorzka czekolada. Goryczka na średnim poziomie, bardzo fajne ciało, rzadko spotykane w sweet stoutach. Ogólnie na plus.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of roasted nuts, hints of cocoa, liquorice root. Taste is slightly sweet, roasty and chocolately dark malty, minimally sugary, hints of cocoa, hoppy overtones with a touch of orange.

Polish coffee stout, from tap at 'Cause Beer Loves Food in Amsterdam. Medium thick, pale greyish beige, moussy head over a black beer with mahogany brown edges. Aroma of strong gravy or veal stock, black coffee grounds, damp earth, tree leaves, moist bitter chocolate, old raisins, liquorice, black pepper. Dried fruits in the onset, restrained in sweetness, sourish note but primarily strong, gravy-like umami; softish carbo, oily mouthfeel. Toasted nutty malt body with coffeeish roasted bitterness in the end, but lacking in the fragrant, delicate aromatic retronasal coffee powder qualities I expect from this substyle; some mild peppery hop bitterness. Straightforward, technically decent, but lacking in coffee elegance and too beefy umami in flavour for me.

Bottle from Browarium, Poland. Black pour with a tan head. Aromas of dark roast coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, chocolate raisin. Flavours of treacle toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, a little smoke. Big coffee hit i the aftertaste. Tasty brew.

Bottle (thanks ArtificialCyst). Pours dark brown-black with beige brownish head. Aroma is sweet, roast, coffee, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, coffee, roast, malt, some lactose. Excellent mouthfeel. Finish is roast and citric bitter. Overall: very good, a lot of roast and coffee, but not beany.
