Handpull cask at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby. Light brown and clear with a thin film of off-white head. Light malty notes, some watercress on the nose. Bittersweet on the mouth, some notes of TCP, unsweetened tea. Bitterness on the finish. Harsh astringent aftertaste. Doesn't really hang together.

4.6% Cask handpull at The Made Inn Ashford. Hazy chestnut brown colour lasting cream head. Bitter. Best bitter flavour. First cask ale in 5 months Good condition. not overly bitter. white pepper finish.
