Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazy copper. Good beige foam. Nicely sour malt character. Bright twangy yeast. Hops are fresh leafy and tobacco like. Taste follows suit really. Tangy and slightly sour. Good depth of hop bitterness. Foamy and lively. Good bitter linger with nice maltiness throughout. Seems I liked this considerably more than Leighton and Stu.

500ml bottle from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - Hazy chestnut body mad white top. Nose has caramel hints with some bready yeast. Taste has a fruity citrus hit with a decent bitter finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - big thanks to Garrold for the swap. Pours faintly hazed amber-copper with a creamy, light khaki head. Lightly sweet with notes of toasted grains, dried berries, earthy and leafy hops. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decently balanced finish, more toasted malts, grains, earth and leaves, leathery-fruity accents. Not bad overall.
