Cask. Hallamshire House. Not surprised you weren’t keen on this, Stu. Clear gold. Tight white head. Nose has biscuity slightly spicy malt. Floral herbal hop notes. Taste has an overwhelming sharp herbal bitterness. No balance here. Light body. The bitterness continues an age. Hard work.

Cask at Coach and Horses Dronfield - Hazy gold body, solid white top. Grassy nose with a little citrus fruit influence, kind of sweet taste, more fruit with a bitter finish.

Cask at DBC Tap, Derby. Pours a pale straw with minimal white head but good lacing. There tangerine in the aroma, along with some generic citrus. In the mouth floral hops are the first to hit the taste buds, closely followed by grapefruit, orange and mango. Later on some more traditional bitterness comes through. Finish is dry and very bitter. This is OK, but Thornbridge have done much better beers than this.
