Inspired by the golden, drinkable, slightly bitter beers of modern Belgian brewing. Gouden stamp has a beautiful Belgian aroma, slight bitterness, light soft body and is a quaffable 4.8% abv pale ale.

Can at home in Hackney - big thanks to Garrold! Pours unclear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Big on the Belgian yeast character, with some doughy wheat bread, grain husks, moderate grassy bitterness, hints of dried citrus. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more wheat bread, expressive yeast, lemon peel, husky pale grains and lingering grassy bitterness. Very solid.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Also on tap at the brewery. Soft haze on a pale, orange gold. Fine, dense, lasting, swirl of white. Nose has sweet grain. Orange peel. Cardamom. Jellied fruit. Touch of hop spice. Taste had fleeting grain sweetness, but mostly is fruity, orange peel, herbal and spicy bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Soft, foamy carbonation. A tad drying. Lingering orange peel bitterness to finish. Super drinkable, in the style of a toned down XX Bitter.
