GBBF Day 1. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Dry pale malts. Tangy dried fruits, some citric peel. Trace of lemon. Light dry finish brings mild spice.

Cask-conditioned at the brewery tap, the Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell, S Gloucestershire. Amber coloured with a slight off-white head. Slightly subdued aroma of caramel with a hint of honey and floral hops. Flavour began sweet, before a more rounded honey flavour came through, giving way to a decent dry finish. More a bitter with a dash of honey in than an out and out honey beer, and none the worse for it.
