KØLF 010917. Red brown color with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel, toffee. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. Clear reddish brown body with a small off-white head. Quite mild in aroma, malt, caramel and some dry fruit. Flavor is smooth, sweet mild caramel malt, dry fruit and moderate bitter. Medium body and average aftertaste. Nothing outstanding, but as a British style session sweet stout it’s actually not bad. Nothing to hunt down, but I could easily have a few.

dark clear brown, smooth light brown head. nutty syruppy, roasted malty aroma. flavor is roasted malts, syruppy sweet/sour note, flavor reminds me of both czhech and finnish beer which is super weird, a strange sweet stout, not *that* bad, fairly flavorfull, but the flavors are weird, blind tasted i would have guessed some dark chzech beer.

Bottle 500ml @ Sommerhuset
Pours dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, hint of milk chocolate. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long sweet caramel, milk chocolate and dried fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. This is more of a sweet brown ale than stout

Bottle. A deep chestnut colored beer with a creamy, dark beige head. The aroma is mostly on the toffee side, with caramel notes, some roasted malts and coffee. Some prunes blending in. The flavor is quite sweet, with very little bitterness. Toffee, brown gravy, some roasted hint and milk chocolate in the flavor. Medium body and a smooth carbonation. and a sweet toffee-ish finish where some dried figs show up en the very end. Too sweet and not enough stout-ish in any way. 160424

Bottle. Nice creamy head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops and malt. Sweet finish.

Weicher, süß malziger Antrunk. Die geringe Röstigkeit wird schnell von der Süße überdeckt, mittelstarke Würzigkeit. Süß erdig, spät etwas Toffee und Vanille. Zu Beginn zu süß, später besser. 9/7/7/9/8/8

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a fading tan head, lacings. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, dark chocolate notes, little berries. Flavor is rather weak, light sweet, malt, brown sugar, little chocolate, light berries. Thin to medium body, average to lively carbonation. 040216

Aroma: maltybsweet with ripe fruit. Flavour: very malty sweet with ripe fruits and dark berries and some brown sugar. A very slightly bitter finish. Colour: reddish brown with a light brown head.
