Freestyle Super Sauvin (Nelson Sauvin with Phantasm)
Freestyle Nelson Sauvin sub-zero hop kief
We've played around with water and grist leaving a super soft, fluffy and drinkable DIPA. We're getting huge aromas of grape, Jolly Ranchers, strawberry laces, gooseberry and overripe mango.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Thinnish pale malts with a light creamy sweetness. The NZ hops bring crisp pine and a fair ol dose of hop spice that starts to make the softer parts of me gob tingle. Light crisp floral lime speaks loudly and clearly of Motueka. Mild savoury skunk into forensic amounts of Nelson grape and gooseberry. Mellow generic citrus in there. Finish crisp with the hop spice threatening to burn, but ultimately backing off. There was a bit of a sweet bubblegum thing going on when the dipa was first poured, about as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool in my book (Dirty Harry quote), but it burns off to good degree. Still a bit in the aftertaste, so a demerit for that but, overall a good dipa.

Can picked up from Art & Craft SW16, London - 17/11/2023 Big nelson character here with loads of gooey gooseberry and tender sweet white grape, sweet malty backbone, piney bitter edged hoppy close. Lovely
