At Pre-Borefts tasting. Aroma of malt, caramel and licorice. Taste has malt, licorice and too much oxidation. This is weird, more a sweet brown ale than a stout.

Shared at pre-Borefts tasting, thanks for sharing everybody! Very dark brown with small beige head. Soft minerals, light roast, black berries, light leaves, bit watery. Light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Bottle @ Pre-Borefts tasting. Black color, light dark red glare coming through when held into the light. Smell and taste malts, malt bitter, grainy bitter in a good way, dark malts, a bit metallic / iron. Overall though I don't dislike it. Not great but it's ok I'd say.

6 3 7 3 13 Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Tasting, The Hague '17. Brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, herbal notes, licorice and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours dark brown. Aroma is coffee, liquorice, carbon tablets, coke, fig. Body is medium, sticky sweet, with a strong bubbly carbonation. Some chocolate, liquorice and booze. Sweet palate. Good.

RE-RATE OF TMB COLLAB VERSION from bottle: 7 4 8 3 14 Iodine roast aromatics, fruit gummy sweetness, tomato herbal notes, dry, metallic, dry smoke, lacks a bit og the rural oomph of the original. Original rating, BKL2017: 8 5 8 4 16 Nice roast sugar and earthy coffee aroma. Black, huge brown creamy head. Good balance of roast, rural earthy notes, smoke. Dry yet creamy mouthfeel.

Black with medium brown head. Aroma is fish, coffee beans, smoke. Taste is sour coffee, with fresh hoppy stuff. Not smooth or chocolatey. Not my kind of stout.

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Trübes dunkel orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch schokoladig, süß, Vanille. Geschmack süß schokoladig, trocken röstmalzig, Vanille, gut.
