Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium frothy white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, herbal wheat and mild piney hops. The finish is soft and wheaty with a biscuit malt aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Bottle. A- Wheat, citrus, subtle hops, slight barnyard. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, minimal white head. T- Wheat, oranges, citrus, subtle bitterness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, unbalanced finish. O- I was expecting an 80 Acre (Boulevard) kind of beer from this. It was. But way worse. Not very balanced and not much in terms of hops and the wheat was a little funky and only citrus was oranges on the finish.

Hazy golden and blonde coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall white head. Aroma of bright citrus and PNW hops with some good wheat notes, a hint of curacao and coriander seed and some subtle yeastiness at the end. Medium-bodied; Definite wheatie flavour with some subtle sweetness of honey and curacao and a little bit of hop bitterness at the end, but nothing pungent. Aftertaste is nice and relatively smooth and one-dimensional, but that isn’t a bad thing with this one - true to the style. Overall, a nice wheat ale with some curacao, honey and of course hoppy notes to go with the typical wheatie and coriander seed freshness. I sampled this pint on draught at Cheeky Monk in Denver, Colorado on 08-June-2014 for US$5.99.

Some light citrus hops. Pours cloudy blonde with ok head and lacing. Fizzy carbonation. Finishes with some light bitterness. Has a good summer drinkability quotient. Bottle from the fridge at work while trying to get through a story to make the weekend happen.

Lemongrass and dandelion nose. Cloudy golden, thick head, fair lacing. A bit more floral on the palate. Lillies are evident. Light body but not thin. Soft carbonation, dry. Alcohol not noticeable. Could pass as an APA, little discernible wheat character and well hopped.

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy medium-gold color topped by a fluffy whitehead. Doughy, lemony malt aroma is pleasant enough. Tart wheat malt flavor has more bready character with notes of spicy hops. Slightly earthy with obvious wheat, yeast and citrus hops. Very refreshing and drinkable.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 4/23/2014. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, light pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of bright hop notes with a good amount of malt balance; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, light pine, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Slight earthy floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, orange/lemon zest, wheat, cracker, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish fora good bit. Very nice complexity of citrus hop flavors and balanced bready malt sweetness; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, smooth, and fairly crisp/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale wheat ale. All around good robustness and complexity of citrus hops and balanced bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle @ home, shared with LeninCat. Pours a milky yellow orange appearance with a white head. Musky / dank hops in the nose, as the Mosaic hops are quite prevalent. Some herbal / grassy / green onion notes as well. Slightly rough mouth feel with dull carbonation. Chewy yeast / bread in the mouth. Definitely some spicy hops as well. Flavor dissipates pretty quickly. Moderate plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. A touch of tartness on the finish. Not a half bad idea but this just didn’t quite come together super well. Nice attempt though. LeninCat rates this 3/5 & StalinCat actually tasted this one (first brew in five months) so he automatically ticks this @ 5/5.
