330ml bottle from La Cave a Bulles. Smooth, slightly roasty and grainy with some hints of hops, fruits and citrus. Okay, quite generic fruity black IPA.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Tipple, 20/08/18. Murked up extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is tangy tropical fruits, chocolate biscuit, light spice, dark malts. Taste comprises dusty fruits, brown bread, pine, cocoa poweder, burnt toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Respectable enough CDA.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours unclear brown with a thin, foamy khaki head. Notes of toasted brown bread, earth, grapes, bitter cocoa, pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, dry and bitter, nips of ash and baking cocoa, more earth, pine. Not bad.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Tips. Slighty muddy looking brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, mild dark chocolate. Mild pine. Quite a bright citrus on top with a little hop spice. Light finish. All comes together very well. A pleasant surprise.
