Can from Food Dog, drunk in Palmyra after sampling a vintage 14 year aged Bud Light from my parents' fridge. Clear light gold, big head, dank and piney pineapple-tropical citrus nose. Flavor is caramel sweetness with West Coast notes, based on the recipe/name/ABV it must be a new generation of their old 8 Point. Smooth dank west coast goodness. Head and shoulders above the long aged Bud Light, and the slightly younger Michelob Ultra that was hiding next to it.

Clear gold pour. Thin foam. Even lace around the glass. Bittersweet flavor of wheat with a clean lemongrass palate. Easy carbonation.

Pouts a pale golden with a massive white head, fluffy. Aroma of lemongrass, citrus. Taste has viney, woody note layered on a fairly dry malt base. Palate has somewhat herbal influence on the malt, some lingering pine. Interesting.

Bottle clear pale. White head. Old IPa nose. Best by date is 8/28/20. You'd think they would call this a 5.9 point, no? heheheh. Taste is big bitter dull lingering mouth coating, chewing on green grapefruit rind topped with turpentine. Yea, should have a higher alky content considering the taste. Difficult bitter. Almost braggish at that. Big bad slap in the face. Down the gullet she goes. Could be, would be, should be. Finally, I'm getting to the end of the bottle.

Shaker pint draft at POV, the rooftop bar at the W Hotel, Washington DC. The pour is clear golden with a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is bright grapefruit citrus and pine hop, along with fresh cracker malt. The taste is cracker malt, bit of honey sweetness with the citrus and pine to the finish. The palate is medium bodied with active natural carbonation and the softly bitter mineral finish. Solid, tasty beer to enjoy the view over The White House.

Bottle at Royal Palms in Bermuda. Nothing west coast about this - but maybe it is aging from transport and demand in Bermuda. Cloying and sweet with no hip presence. Clear copper with moderate white head.
