Bottle. Nose is is licorice, figs, brown sugar, more licorice. Taste is overpoweringly licorice, there are initial notes of brown sugar and coffee but they are quickly swamped by licorice which builds through the sip to tasting like a licorice all-sort to the exclusion of everything. Mouthfeel is fine. I am not one to enjoy seasoned beers where the additives overwhelm rather than compliment. Meh.
