Inspired a love of modern American pale ales. This proper hoppy northern brew is a full bodied 5% pale ale made with three malts, First wort hopped with 3 classic American IPA hops, more of the same added at flame out and given a twist with a shed load of New Zealand hops in the hop-back.

Cask at The Black Horse, Preston. Pours hazy orange-gold, thick white head. Aromas of biscuit and grapefruit. Bitter taste, bitter finish. a little over-bitter, lacks some balancing maltiness. Not bad though.

Manchester Beer Festival 2014. High bitterness ale but full of grain in its taste. Copper-gold in colour with a small head.
