Can at home, courtesy of the MS crew. Pours a reddish black with an off-white head with a ruby hue. Nose is intense chocolate, cocoa powder and cranberry with a hint of mint. Taste is tart and acidic, both from the fruit and dark malts with barely any detectable sweetness to it. Closes with a dry, acidic and fruity finish, has a light body and soft carbonation. The flsvour combination is on spot, but it’s way too tart and acidic for a stout.

Keg at BD Waterloo, 11/11/22. Murky brown with a reddish glint topped with an off white cap. Nose is light roast, chocolate, tangy red berries, spice, herb. Taste comprises light roast, tangy red berries, light menthol strokes, herb, spice, earthy fruits, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Bit of a mixed bag ... like an old skool 'spice, herb, veg' stylee ... fine in small doses but wouldn't want much of this one.
