Big frothy white head. Short lasting. Some banana and bubblegum ,grains aroma. Quite unusual and unpleasant bitterness .Fresh yeast flavour, the one used to make bread. Prolonged deep bitter finish. This might be the weirdest Weissbier tried so far, don't know if I would even consider this as one.

Keg at Nortada, Porto, 28/10/22. Clear golden with a decent just off white cap. Nose is bready, herb, faint lemon notes, grains. Taste comprises light bubblegum, clove, straw, grains, lemon rind, breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L107 (BBF 12/18). AROMA: medium to medium-high wheat and clove aroma with faint bubblegum. APPEARANCE: gold color and just slightly hazy. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: medium wheat with a bready character. medium-low clove. slight yeast flavor. low bitterness with a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low to low carbonation. OVERALL: an OK weissbier less intense on the flavor and a bit undercarbonated.
