Bottle. An unclear, pale copper colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Light citrusy, piney aroma with bready, caramel malts dominating. Sort of sourish or puke-ish actually. It’s medium bodied and semi-dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, with flavors of bread and caramel doing most of the work. It’s quite bitter, but there’s not much flavor of the hops. Long, bitter finish. Not much of an IPA this one. Well, it’s bitter, but that’s not enough. 161008

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish cola brown with small white head. Aroma is roasted malt, malt syrup, raspberry lemonade, fresh roasted coffee beans and leather. Taste is light sweet, very bitter, light acidic and faint salty. Body is watery with sparkling carbonation. Finish is long and very bitter with notes of malt, malt syrup, bitter grapefruit, ground coffee, dark chocolate, white sugar, dried apricot, grapefruit seeds and hints if soy sauce. Very intense and complex yet nicely balanced.

Draught at KØ16. Good tangerine aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour has a distinct tangerine flavour, which I do not much care for, and also a distinct bitterness.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep golden, almost clear, with a yellowish head. Definitely has some tangerine aroma, and as I feared it’s artificial aroma added to the tank. Medium body, some underlying fruitiness and fresh tangerine notes with a very rough and unpleasant bitterness. I really love the aroma of this, just a pity it’s almost impossible to obtain without artificial methods. 050815
