Bottle split at the Digital Shadow Tasting, thanks to LKS, 13/07/22. Mahogany brown pour with no head. Nose is nutty, dried fruits, herb, musty wood. Taste comprises soy sauce, toffee, umami, dirt, light sugars, oak, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay for the age.

Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy herbal aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle shared at the sweltering Columbus tasting. 13/07/2022. Many thanks to LKS. A dark caramel brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aeoma is cardboard, brown sugars, musty, dusty age, soy, brown grapes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, brown sugars, cola cubes, spicy notes, liquiroce, .Palate is semi sweet, oily, no carboantion, viscuous. Decent for the ages.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf. Cheers! Pours clear clear red-brown, no head. Moderately sweet, meaty, some earthy bitterness, dates, figs. Medium to full bodied, oily and viscous, no carbonation. Lightly warming finish, aged dark fruits. Moderate oxidation. Actually not too bad.

Level 6 tasting. Cheers to LKS for this 45 year old beer. Clear deep amber brown beer, no head. Smooth palate, no carbonation. Smooth malts, rich with ripe toffee and caramel, some of oxidised of course. Ripe fruits. Finishes smooth and slightly viscous. Really not bad at all, purdy drinkable.
