Cask at gbbf 2022 day 1. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is big minty choc, after eighty. Milk chocolate. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of spicy mint, after eight, Warming alcohol, big sticky mint. Nice. Medium sweet. Good fun.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, very good chocolate malts. Dunno about agave but very smooth mint. Ends up massively After Eight pseudo minty. Very pleasing and easy drinking.

Cask@The Great British Beer Festival 2022 - Dark sweet malty, notes of chocolate and caramel, liquorice, peppermint is far to OTT, big minty waves overbearing here, dark malty miry close. Not for me.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige head that escapes to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, spice, menthol tones, coffee bean, dried fruits, alcohol. Taste comprises chocolate mint, herb, spice, oak, light roast, charr, murray mints, wooded tones. Medium plus bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a rising kiss of alcohol. Fun high boost cask stout ... came over a little OTT on the menthol front for me though.
