Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 13/03/22. Amber golden with a good sized lasting just off white covering. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, orange peel, pine needle, perfume, light booze tunes. Taste comprises caramel malts, pine needle, bitter orange, candied fruit peel, booze tunes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow hoppy edge and a balanced rising boost. Solid boosty but balanced sipper ... old skool DIPA meets Barley wine.

Can. Just a light haze on this amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth and softish palate, slightly viscous, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, caramel and cream that could be from a barleywine. Soft piney hop intro. Impressive hop fruity depth. Mostly ripe fruits, rich ripe citrus and a little marmalade but elevating this one is a good sprinkling of candy fruits that brightens this beer a lot. Nibbly hop spice and a decent serving of savoury skunk round things off. Very satisfying, could be marketed as a hoppy barleywine but it's dipa enough for me. Rich and rewarding.
