Tap @ Warpigs. Pours dark muddy brown/black. Taste is vinegary, dark fruits, sweet licorice, salt. Aromas of licorice, light bitterness, licorice, savory notes, light tobacco.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Warpigs / Surly Blakk Out Gose ].Unclear - hazy medium to dark brown color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, licorice, soft licorice, light licorice wood - root. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, licorice, soft licorice, light salty, light salty licorice. Body is medium to full, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO. lovely licorice like Finnish soft licorice :D [20150727]

Keg at the brewpub, RBESG ’15 day 1, 20/08/15. Light black with a decent khaki head that dissipates to Edgework. Nose is liquorice stick, sea salt, aniseed, light wood, dark fruits. Taste comprises sweet and sour vibes, salt, aniseed balls, figgy jam, tarte fruit shreds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a thimble full of puckerage. Decent dark gose.

Aroma: Liquorice, caramel, spices, some malt.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Liquorice, roasted malt, caramel.

Tap @ Warpigs. Hazy very dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, caramel nd licorice. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish with a hint of salt. 180815

On tap at Warpigs. Dark brown with a tan head. Quite a lot of sweet licorice in both the aroma and taste. Also some salt. The body was light as was the bitterness. Drinkable but a bit anonymous.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel salty licorice aroma. Fruity malty weak sour licorice caramel flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty licorice caramel weak sour finish.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hopy aroma. more ,licorice than salt and sour. Light bitter licorice flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Strange but nice.
