Keg at the Brunswick Inn, Derby crawl, 11/02/22. Light black with a tan cap. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, vanilla, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, jammy berries, Wagon Wheel, mellow roast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad but veers a little on the sweet side for me.

Draught keg at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Dark brown, noticeably tranucent with a thick off-white head and lots of creamy lacing. Chocolate malty notes in the aroma with noted of aniseed. Sweet chocolate malt with bitterness fro liquorice and stone fruit character. Long balanced finish. Heavy carbonation. It's a bit odd but I like it.
