Our first collab & we’ve made it a big one, brewed with our buddies at LHG — after buying their old kit and moving into their old brewery, it seemed only fitting that our first DIPA should be brewed with them!

We've not chased the haze with this beer and taken a modern approach to a West Coast style Double IPA. We kept the bitterness low and the hop intensity high with flavours of tropical fruit, cotton candy, green melon & mango. A clean yeast profile, perfectly balanced by a resinous back note and a hint of pepper from the Loral.

Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 17/11/21. Almost clear golden orange with a good sized white covering. Nose is orange pith, pine resin, lychee, soft malts, papaya, ripe melon. Taste comprises bitter orange, hop spice, grapefruit, ripe melon, grass, pine needle, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juice laden hop bitterness allied to a light rising boost. Tidy enough DIPA.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. A light hazed godlen orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice base malts, strata hop, orange rind, woody citrus, light plastic, piney hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky hop, piney, spicy citrus, orange, grass, firm grassy bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, sticky hop resin, highish carbonation. Good stuff.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, perhaps a little on the thin side but bringing a light creamy sweetness. Smooth light pine into a savoury edge but it never gets skunky. Somewhat recessed bright citrus into mellow citrus peel. Some mild tang on the back end. Tidy and pretty drinkable but lacks something to put in the premier league. Just a little thin and recessed but still good.
