Panda at home thanks to Colin. A hazed dark amber orange, colourd pour with a aloose greyish white head. Aroma is semi sweet sour, lacto, banana, caramel, sour grapes, touch of vinegar, little bubble gum. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, big spicy vinegar, lemon rind, some oxidisation , woody funk , fruit pips. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mouldy funk, spicy sour, Woody spicy finish. little veggy. Not a big fan.

Schwing top bottle at home, from the brewery online, 25/02/21. Lightly hazed orange amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is tarte green berries, wood must, funk, damp cloth, acidic nostril pinch, bretted pangs, stoned fruits. Taste comprises sharp green berries, puckering fruit esters, balsamic rise, funk, guava, tarte citric peel, gooseberries, on the turn grapefruit. Medium bodied with a little oomph, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with background hops and rising acidic throat scrape. Solid complex affair ... a real acidic vibe about this one.

Swing top bottle, picked up at the brewery. Deep gold with a light haze. Super dense, lasting ring of white head. Nose has sweet balsamic. Oak. Tart grape. Dusty brett. Polished leather. I mean there’s the whole caboodle here. Taste is super sweet and balsamic like, first off, with tart, leathery, vinous bitterness afterwards. Smooth on the palate. A tad oily. Fine carbonation. Touch of boozy esters. Lingering tart bitterness to finish. Wowzer. Shed loads going on here. So much interesting beer getting made in Sheffield these days.
