500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint (Half Moon), Darlington. Dark brown-red colour, foamy beige head leaving some lacing and aroma of malt, toffee, liquorice. Taste is sweet malty, toffee, brown sugar, dark fruits, with hints of chocolate, liquorice, roasted & nutty notes. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, lingering malty sweet finish. Quite OK.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown/red in colour. Liquorice, blackcurrant and some earthy notes in the aroma. Fruity and slightly roasted taste with blackcurrant and liquorice (almost like the sweets) being most noticeable. A decent drop.

Cask at the malt and hops... Deep brown black... Small tan head... Soft dry sweet malty toffee nose... Light dry front... Quite thin... Dift blackcurrant roast...
