Draught @ Fermentoren Aarhus, Norregade 24, DK-8000 Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Ghost Darkest Moon ].Dark dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, grapefruit - light licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150509]

Bottle @ Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Pours black with a fluffy beige head. Chocolate, coffee and tar. Smooth and soft. Licorice. Slight homebrew kit style. Dry and bitter finish. Tasty allright!

Thanks to Ryan for sharing this one at Levi’s tasting. Black. Heavy roast, almost burnt. Some anise/black licorice flavor. Some sweetness, but finish is roasted grain.

Bottle shared by Ryan, thanks! Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of musty dark grains with some roasted malts and a slight bitterness. Flavor has notes of chocolate, dark grains, roasted malts and a slight mustiness underlying.

[4/27/15] Draught at Taphouse in Copenhagen. Black with a brown head. Aroma of coffee, roast, licorice. Bittersweet flavor with chocolate, coffee, roast, licorice, a bit of fruitiness and a bitter finish. Quite thick.

33cl bottle, ölhus Copenhavn. Pitch black colored brew, thick espresso head. Roasted, chocolaty, nutty, aroma. Woody. Flavor has roastedness, ashy notes, dark chocolate, coffee. Heavy musty stuff.

Bottle, thanks to Kenny Kenny, split at LKS Moon Dome, 21/04/15. Black with a dirty tan covering. Nose is peppery spice, roast malt, dark chocolate, toffee. Taste comprises rich chocolate, roast malt, liquorice, charr, sweet licks, toffee, sticky molastic notes, fruit cake. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light warming booze in the close. Ok impy.
