Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, roasty nose with whiff of coffee. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, some alcohol and again roasty notes in the finish.

Canned, thx HP! Huge aroma, layers of chocolate backed with dried fruit, some coffee, creamy, some alcohol, lovely stuff. Leaner, drier taste, though still soft, big chocolate by all means, touches of alcohol, coffee-roast, some underlying orange... not as impressive as the aroma, but still good, well done!

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Pours pitch black with smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, syrup, salty licorice, dark chocolate, coffee and espresso. Taste is heavy, roasty and sweetish with some tar, salty licorice, dark chocolate and oatmeal. Finish is heavy, warming and roasty with some licorice, coffee and dark chocolate. Heavy but quite tasty.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20160210) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had liquorice, saltiness and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, saltiness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had liquorice and bitterness. A well done heavy imperial stout.

Thick, pitck black with a big tan head. Roasted aroma, some chocolate and tobacco. Burnt notes, almost smoky. Flavour has roast and notes of licorice with hoppy bitterness. Sweet and syrupy, big, sticky mouthfeel but well balanced by a lasting, bitter finish. Another solid impy from Ghost!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque pitch black with a brown head. Some roast in the nose, but more chocolate and hops - clearly dry-hopped. Very rich and solid, heavy cocoa, also somewhat syrupy but the massive amount of hops makes for it never gets cloying. 141215
