Black beer, light brown foamy head. Aroma is dark chocolate and cherry. Tastes of toasted malt, dark chocolate, tangy sour cherry, aittle coffee. Rich and really tasty. Only thing that let's it down to my taste is that the sour cherry becomes a little sickly as you go through it.

Keg at Fierce Bar, Aberdeen. It pours opaque jet black with a medium foamy tan head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, sticky, oily, bright fruity action, loads and loads of cherry, jammy, chocolate, coffee and black forest gateaux. The taste is initially dry and roasty, charred wood, coffee grounds, umami, spicy, toasty, rich dark cherry, peppery spice, burnt toast, some cherry jam and a splash of alcohol warmth with a dry, toasty finish. Fulsome body and fine to medium body carbonation. Flavourful and strikes a nice balance.

Bottle. Black body with a beige head that holds well. Good lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, mashed raspberries and cocoa powder. Flavour of cherry, chocolate and a slightly boozy finish. Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. Light fizz. Rich and indulgent. This is up there with Fallen’s Raspberry Dog Chew.
