"Jo ennestään melko rapsakasti humaloitu Black Door H.O.D.A. sai juhlan kunniaksi hieman lisäpotkua. Reseptiin lisättiin amerikkalaista Citra-humalalajiketta sekä katkeruutta että aromia tuottamaan. Tuloksena syntyi entistäkin katkerampi, runsaan sitrushedelmäinen humalapommi. Real Ale -versiona tarjoiltavasta H.O.D.A.:sta tulee myyntiin kahta erilaista versiota, joista toinen on kuivahumaloitu Citralla ja toinen Centennialilla."

Draught @ Black Door, Iso Roobertinkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland 00100. [ As Malmgård Black Door H.O.D.A. 20th Anniversary ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, green grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, citrus, grass, green grass, hoppy, fruity, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150727]

Keg at Black Door, Helsinki. Hazy pale golden, mid sized head. Distinct citric nose. Very dry and slender bodied with crisp mouthfeel. Grassy citrusy hops, crisp bready malt. Distinct bitter finish. Excellent refreshing stuff!

25cl on tap at Black Door, Helsinki. Almost clear golden with a white head. Lovely hoppy aroma dominated by tropical fruits and citrus. Lightly sweet with lovely hops and a light malty background. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Another lovely low alcohol hoppy beer, that’s a trend I like. Rich hoppy flavour and quite sessionable. Solid bitterness, but balaced. Delicious beer to enjoy outside in the sun.

Smell of hops. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, extremely soft other flavour. Some spruce, some citrus. Unbelievable richness for such a mild one. Bitter but mildly. Flat carbon. Awesome.

(Centennial) Cask at Black Door, Helsinki. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma and flavour is hops, grass and fruits. Relatively dry but still great ipa.

Cask @ Black Door, Helsinki. Centennial. Poured pale golden with a thin white head. Citrusy, floral hoppy aroma. Flavor is very hoppy, citrus, grass, but also plastic notes. very bitter finish. You can feel the 120 IBU for sure.

Draught@Black Door (Citra). Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, herbal, grassy and quite sweet. Mild maltyness. Flavour is similar with a nice bitter finish. 7 3 7 3 14. Draught@Black Door (Centennial, thanks M.L.). Golden colour, minor head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and grassy. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, some floral and grassy hops in the finish. 7 3 7 3 14

Aroma has lots of hops with exotic fruits. Flavour is rather hoppy with lots of exotic fruits and some resin in the finish. A bit watery feeling in the aftertaste. Rather close to the original H.O.D.A., but a bit more hoppy and better.
Cask at Black Door as "Centennial dry hopped"
Aroma is sweetish with peaches, some hops and hints of hay. Dry and somewhat leathery palate. Flavour is hoppy with somte peaches and vinegum candy. Finally got my hands on Cask version of H.O.D.A. The bitterness lingers in my mouth for a long time. Interesting and rather fruity stuff. 7-2-7-3-16=35.
