Keg at the Merchant, Canary Wharf, 31/07/19. Murky orange to brown with and eggshell white cap ... not a looker ... canal shit water kind of appearance! Nose is sweet malts, caramel, old skool exhaust, bitter orange. Taste comprises sticky tropical fruits, sweet licks, mango pulp, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness and more sweetness. Overly sweet and lacking balance.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, light thin sweetness. Smooth pine. Light citrus, a decent blend of fresh orangey citrus and an equal amount of citrus peel. Whisper of something tropical. Light finish. Very piney, could be punchier in the hop fruits department but overall still plenty hoppy and leaves a mildly spicy linger.
