Bottle on the Looe Brush ... 47537 & 826 ... cheers to Nick or Dave I think, 03/02/19. Hazed light golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malts, straw, lemon rind, crackers. Taste comprises grass, hint of lemon, twiggy essence, toasted grains, light white peppery spice, candied orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average affair and lacking depth for the ABV.

Bottle picked up at Quenchers, Bideford. It pours cloudy yellow / blonde with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fragrant, lots of Belgian esters, apple, pear, melon, candy, banana, doughy white bread and nougat. The taste is dry, bitter, kind of chalky, pithy, green banana, floury bread, soda water, grainy, raw alcohol kick, grassy, apple skin and pear drops with a drying and spiced finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Carbonation is a bit full on. Decent enough go at a Belgian Blonde.
