Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer festival 2018. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting loose dark tan head. Aroma is earthy roast, oily chocolate, woodland fruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody chocolate oily light orange tang, waxy chocolate. Palate is semi sweet, oily, woody. Lowish carbonation. Not bad. Lingering dark bitter choc

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, mellow roast, dark fruit esters. Taste comprises liquorice, chocolate biscuit, dried fruits, light black peppery spice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout but not detecting any orange.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours black-brown with a creamy beige head. Eh, not the best, not very cohesive. Some chalky cocoa, scorched earth, hints of orange rind. Medium bodied, silky, with fine carbonation. Some dry and ashy roast in the finish. So so.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, slightly bitterish and thin dark malts. Tangy bitterish floral orange. Mild spice. Light finish. Okay, had many better.
