Cask at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Light black with a big old tan covering. Nose is tangy dark fruits, wood, stewed fruits, mellow barrel, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake, chocolate, light bourbon oak, mellow roasted tones, light ashen notes. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer festival 2018. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose light tan head. Aroma is marker pen, solvent apple, vanilla,. Flavour is composed of, oily vanilla oak. Custard, apple, spice, light oak. Palate is semi sweet, woody, oily decent cask condition. Lingering woody, alcohol warmth. Nice.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear deep red - amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Tangy mellow dark malts. Tangy fruits. Something spicy - nutty. Berries. Tangy finish. Different.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours deep brown with a small, foamy white head. Decent depth, some dark fruits, soft chocolate, burnt wood dryness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, nips of ash and cocoa, more aged berries. Nice.
