Cask at the Squirrel, Penn Street, 29/09/18. Copper with a well presented light beige head that retains well. Nose is biscuit malts, stewed fruits, earthy, nutty. Taste is malt forward, biscuit, caramel, fruit slice, brown bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter finale. Descent well kept bitter.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A bright copper colour with a loose white head; biscuity malt aroma; simple biscuity malt taste; with a light woody bitterness; then more biscuity malts to finish. A pleasant old fashioned bitter.
