Based on the "Golding Hop" it’s lightly pronounced floral flavour/aroma is derived from dry hopping with Golding hops, which really show through on drinking. A well-rounded beer with a satisfying after taste.

Half-pint, cask at Parcel Yard in Leicester. Shared with Finn. Rich lacing from a medium-sized off-white head, clear warm golden body. Restrained smell of herbal hops and mild malty sweetness. Blended taste of caramel malts, herbal hops and a backdrop of leafy hop bitterness. Classic version of a Brit bitter. Like it. (10.02.2019).

Cask half-pint in The Three Crowns, Oakham on 15th March 2016. Clear amber hue to the deep orange/brown body, good lacing from the off-white head. Aroma was an easy blend of light malts, nuts and grassy hops. The flavour was semi-sweet yet with a bitter undertone. A typical English Bitter, I liked it.

Tried at the Victoria in, Lincoln. Amber colour with a white head. Fruity and caramel aroma and taste, thin body, but a very drinkable bitter.

Cask at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Ruddy brown, thin and translucent with a sizeable white head. Vinous metallic smell, not unpleasant but not particularly enticing from a beer perspective. Bittersweet herbal taste with a full earthy hop finish. Medium body. As basic as you like. Nothing exciting about this recipe, but I enjoyed it enough as a one-off.
